November 17, 2003 Nothing new here. Seven days a week, nothing new. You'd think being out of the house every lousy day, I would have something to talk about. Something maybe to do with what is going on with my life. I wish I could say it is like it was when I was around 19. When I was 19, I had the first car I bought and paid for on my own. I drove to my $3.55 an hour job at the local Hardees and even with that hourly wage, I seemed rich. I remember driving that old gold '68 Plymouth Fury 3, hunting down the babes, and feeling free. You lose a lot of that when you get older. The freedom felt just cruising around on a sunny July afternoon wearing shades, cranking the tunes on a makeshift stereo setup. The world at that time evolved around Gen X. Seeing the youth now as I go through college sometimes brings me back to those days. Generation X is who I am; the youth today seems so much less intense. Gen X had long hair, listened to the loudest hardest music available, partied long and hard. Living Anarchy was a way of life, and a passion. Well, now in my thirties, I can say my hairs shorter, other than that, I love loud hard music, love to party (although my ability to party for days on end has diminished), love the Anarchy way. I do however see a purpose for law enforcement, and obey laws; even the useless ones. The Anarchist in me keeps my thoughts about law about the same as I was then. I still feel if you're rich, you are never guilty; this is proven year after year. I still feel if you are poor, you will be guilty until proven innocent; this is also proven year after year.
